My expertise includes teaching kids English, math, computers, as well as social skills. I currently work with St. Louis Byte Works, where I teach kids computers. I also have more than two years of various volunteer activities, including the Hephzibah Children's Association, a home for abused and neglected children in Chicago. There I taught a 12-year-old math and sports, and also worked closely with kids to teach them about computers and internet safety. Teaching and mentoring children has been one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences of my life.
I am responsible, diligent and dependable, and I believe that learning should be fun, but also productive. Therefore, I will make sure that each lesson is an engaging and productive experience for your child.
In addition to teaching kids, I have more than 12 years of experience with a variety of Windows software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. I also have a wealth of experience troubleshooting Windows issues and errors for business students and professors. I am adept at explaining technical concepts clearly and in layman's terms to those who are not as technically savvy.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have more than two years experience mentoring and tutoring kids K-6th with the Hephzibah Children's Association in Chicago, as well as the St. Louis Jewish Community Center. Although I am serious about the subject matter (math, reading, computers), I know how to create a fun learning environment and deliver the information via a creative and engaging format. For instance, at Hephzibah I taught kids about technology and online safety via videos and games. I also tested the kids' knowledge via digital quizzes, which I created.
I have six years experience working as a Media Solution Consultant at Google. My expertise includes advanced knowledge of digital ad servers such as DFP and Atlas, as well as ad specs, ad formats, and campaign optimizations. I also have experience in a Sales-supporting role, wherein I directly consulted some of Google's largest clients such as Target, P&G, and Best Buy on their advertising buys.
I have been using Windows for more than 16 years. I also have more than a year's experience troubleshooting Windows issues at the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). There I worked on a variety of demanding technical issues, as a senior technician, helping business and marketing professors resolve hardware and software issues on their Windows machines.
I have been using Microsoft Word to compose essays, create outlines, and write reports for more than 12 years. Additionally, my computer skills and patience make me the perfect candidate to explain technical concepts clearly and in layman's terms to those who are not as technically savvy.
I have spent more than five years writing essays for my History, English and German classes. I also wrote articles for my high school yearbook, newspaper, as well as the college newspaper at Northwestern. Additionally, during my six years as a media solutions consultant at Google, I spent a lot of time writing business documents and communicating through writing with clients. To round out my experience, I received the award for best English student in high school.
