My tutoring repertoire includes 4 years of college tutoring and 4 years as a Wyzant tutor. In addition to Spanish, I tutor both Algebra and French. When I tutor, I like to make the learning process as pain-free and enjoyable as possible. To facilitate this, I often use worksheets to get the point across. In my language classes I also tend to teach material in English first, then try to ease into speaking in the foreign language.

I hope you see me as a good fit!

I have studied Spanish for the past nine years and have taught the language for the past five. My students appreciate my laid back teaching style and have repeatedly expressed that I do a good job of simplifying the complexities of understanding a new language. My background consists of degrees in both Spanish and International Studies, in addition to extensive travel to Spanish speaking countries including Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and the Dominican Republic.

Algebra 1

I took Algebra 1 my sophomore year of high school and continued to use algebra principles in subsequent math classes up to calculus 1. In addition to language tutoring, I tutored college algebra while obtaining my bachelor's degree at Saint Louis University. I consider learning algebra to be very similar to learning a new language and my teaching method as a Spanish tutor is what I use to help teach math. This method includes using multiple example questions to increase exposure to new ideas as well as clear and to the point explanations.

I took Prealgebra In eighth grade and continued to use algebra principles in subsequent math classes up to calculus 1. I tutored both Spanish and College Algebra while obtaining my bachelor's degree at Saint Louis University. I consider learning Math to be very similar to learning a new language and my teaching method as a Spanish tutor is what I use to help teach all of my Math classes. This method includes using multiple example problem sets to increase exposure to new ideas as well as clear and to the point explanations.

First lesson was fun and comfortable for my shy son. Thank you

The platform - WyzAnt on line; made the online lesson very helpful - sharing worksheets made the lesson just like an in person session. Logan is a very talented teacher.

Very happy with our session with Logan.

Logan didn't have any trouble getting started and gave my son some helpful hints on how to complete his homework. He worked with my son on his vocabulary and helped him write sentences that were less complicated. My son was very pleased and commented that Logan really helped him.
