I began teaching marketing courses in 1974 as a Webster University Adjunct Professor in the Business/Management Department. I developed, established, and taught undergraduate curricula for Advertising, Advanced Advertising, Public Relations, Creative Writing, and Writing for the Professional. Additionally, I taught a Public Relations Seminar for graduate students, as well as visiting students from other Webster Campuses, worldwide.
I updated, revised, and taught marketing classes during Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Sessions, providing "hands-on" creative instruction and assignments. My tenure included more than 25 years' teaching at six Webster campuses in the St. Louis area. Over that period of time, I received "outstanding" reviews from students in classes averaging between 25 and 35 attendees.
