I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and a concentration in Biochemistry from Georgia College & State University, where I also completed minors in Spanish, Biology, and Global Health Studies. Throughout my undergraduate career, I was recognized as an Outstanding Chemistry Graduate, Chemistry Research Scholar, and CDC John R. Lewis Public Health Scholar. My academic journey was deeply interdisciplinary, combining classroom learning with research in chemistry, physics, and public health.

Over four years, I worked as a peer tutor at the university's Learning Center, supporting students in chemistry, biology, physics, statistics, and math. I was promoted to Tutor Lead for the Chemistry Table, where I mentored new tutors and helped oversee day-to-day tutoring operations. In addition, I served as a Supplemental Instructor (SI) for general chemistry, leading structured review sessions twice a week. Most of my tutoring was with college students in both one-on-one and group settings. I emphasized clear explanations, patience, and hands-on problem-solving to build student confidence and mastery of difficult concepts.

Outside of the classroom, I volunteered as a judge for local K–5 science fairs and supported community health efforts through hospital and clinic-based volunteering. These experiences allowed me to work with learners of different ages and backgrounds, strengthening my communication and teaching skills. I brought dedication, warmth, and adaptability to every session, always aiming to help students not just succeed academically, but also feel empowered in their learning.
