Hi! I am a 4th year allopathic medical student applying into psychiatry residencies. I passed USMLE Step 1 and scored 280 (100th percentile) on Step 2 CK. I also scored at or above the 95th percentile on nearly all of my USMLE Shelf exams throughout my clerkships. I used my testing strategies to dominate on test day, and I want to help you do the same.

In addition to preparation for Step and Shelf exams, I also offer medical admissions counseling, including application strategy, personal statement and secondary essay editing, and interview preparation. I am more than happy to customize my counseling to your unique situation and career goals.

I did my undergrad at Boston College, where I majored in biology and minored in history. While in college, I worked as an EMT and engaged in a variety of service projects in the Boston area. I went straight from college to medical school. I have been extremely engaged with medical education throughout medical school, and have served in several medical education/leadership/mentorship positions, including as a Student Chief for the Psychiatry Clerkship, a member of the Psychiatry Clerkship Evaluation Committee, and a gross anatomy demonstrator to high school students. I have also served as a tutor at a juvenile detention center, and teach clinical interviewing and physical examination techniques to first and second year medical students. In addition to tutoring and medical education, I also have medical school admissions experience dating back to 2022, and have been editing personal statements for medical school admissions since 2021.

I am excited to meet you, and hope to help you achieve success beyond your wildest dreams!

Career Development

Career Development

Throughout medical school, I have been actively engaged in mentoring medical school applicants. I have edited and revised over 40 students' personal statements and secondary essays, leading to their successful admission to medical school. I have also been involved in a medical school admissions committee, so I understand well what adcoms are looking for, and how I can help you highlight those aspects of your application.
MCAT

MCAT

I took the MCAT in 2020 and scored in the 95th percentile (518). My performance on test day undoubtedly propelled me to acceptance to medical school. Since then, I have built upon my expertise in interpreting scientific data and knowledge of the subject material throughout medical school. I am more than happy to provide my expertise on navigating the exam, with particular focuses on the Bio/Biochem and Psychology/Sociology sections.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I have extensive expertise in the realm of pharmacology. As I am currently pursuing a career in psychiatry, pharmacology comes extremely naturally to me. I love to tutor and quiz students on pharm, and will gladly help you make one of the more involved and daunting topics in medical education into a home run! I have a number of mnemonics and other tools to provide that will assist you in your knowledge of pharmacology. I scored 100% on my medical school NBME pharmacology exam, and want to help you do the same!
USMLE

USMLE

I took and passed USMLE Step 1 on the first day of my dedicated study period, and scored 280 (100th percentile) on Step 2 CK with 5.5 weeks of dedicated study time. I also scored in the honors range on nearly all of my clerkship shelf exams (including Psych, Neuro, Peds, IM, Family Medicine, Surgery, and EM).
