Hello! My name is Mary and I am a certified K-12 ESOL teacher. In addition to my ESOL certification, I am also certified in elementary education and hold a bachelor's degree in English as well as a Masters of Education in Secondary Curriculum & Instruction. Hello! My name is Mary and I am a certified K-12 ESOL teacher. In addition to my ESOL certification, I am also certified in elementary education and hold a bachelor's degree in English as well as a Masters of Education in Secondary Curriculum & Instruction. I have taught for over 8 years, and have experience with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.

I love tutoring because it allows me to teach lessons strictly based on a student's individual needs. No two students are the same, nor do any two students experience the exact same strengths or struggles. By developing individualized lessons for my students, I am able to help them succeed much faster than they would in a group setting. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student succeed after struggling.

My qualifications and life experience make me an exceptional English tutor. I have experience in working with people from a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am sensitive to my students' needs, while also being well-versed in my subject area.
