I enjoy working with others, especially assisting them in obtaining educational goals, whether formal or informal. I believe that with the right educational opportunities and experiences one can accomplish a great deal in the future.
I myself am a life long learner. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Computer Science and am currently working on another dual major Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Services. I am certified as a K-12 Substitute teacher and Adult Education and Literacy instructor in the state of Missouri.
I formerly also studied education, and even though I changed that major, I have found myself teaching in one form or another for many years. My former employers consist of Missouri S&T and Rolla Adult Education & Literacy program where I helped individuals study for their GED. I loved it. When the program was shut down, I began doing private tutoring. Most of my clients have been in Math and one in ACT preparation but I am open to many other areas as well, such as: reading, language, writing development, science, and computer science and English.
I have experience not only with high school and adult students, but also with children. I have not only followed and helped students with homework, but also have created and executed my own lesson plans which included crafts and games for the younger children.
