EDUCATION Bachelors of Arts, Spanish University of Arkansas May 2016 • Major: Spanish • Minor: Speech Pathology • [Related course work: Latino Youth Biliteracy Program, psychology special topic research: Youth Mentoring Project, statistics] EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Alpha Epsilon Delta: Pre-Medical Honors Society Vice President: In this fraternity, the duties of the Vice President in the year of 2015 were to implement a new point system to assure members accountability for events and construct a new constitution. In addition, it was also the duty of the Vice President to organize a banquet for three hundred students, faculty, parents, and local physicians. Alpha Epsilon Delta: Pre-Medical Honors Society Volunteer Co-chair: The goal of the volunteer co-chair in the board of directors for Alpha Epsilon Delta is to effectively engage the pre-medical student community in charity work around the Northwest Arkansas region for the years of XXXX-XXXX. Camp Discovery: American Academy of Dermatology Counselor: As a child with a severe skin condition, I attended Camp Discovery from the age of eight to thirteen. Now as an adult, I return as a counselor for a week every summer to be a role model to a child who needs someone to understand what it is like to grow up with a severe skin condition. Latino Youth Biliteracy Project Student Assistant: Under advisement of a professor, the goal of this research project was to obtain knowledge about bilingual culture and education and apply bilingual teaching strategies in a school environment. Psychology Special Topics: Youth Mentoring Project Tutor: For this research project, the work of the tutor was to be a “friend” to an elementary-aged child that was bullied in the school system; in conjunction with collecting data and writing an account for each session in order to aid supervising professors. EXPERIENCE Behavior Technician Sadowsky Autism Services 2016 to current • Responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to best support clients under supervision of a board certified behavior therapist. • Collect data to assist supervisor in giving the best treatment possible for each client. Barista Price-Cutter (Starbucks) • Responsible for providing superior customer service and quality beverages. FOREIGN LANGUAGES Proficient in Spanish, Beginner level Portuguese
