Truman State Univeristy (Biology)
I have been a CAE certified tutor for 3 years now at Truman State University. I tutor mostly college level math but I also love to tutor science as well (biology, chemistry, physics, etc..). My favorite thing about tutoring is that fact that I get to help to student embark on a journey of self-sufficiency and confidence. Seeing that first "light bulb" pop up is always a great feeling.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
