I gave Dan a pretty challenging task - provide Jewish Studies lessons to my two boys and me - all at the same time! Dan not only customized the curriculum to meet our needs, but somehow managed to engage and educate an 11 year-old, a 15 year-old, and a 40-something year old - all at the same time! Each lesson was both fun and interesting, and Dan presented the material in a way that will ensure the learning “sticks.” We had a terrific tutoring experience and recommend Dan wholeheartedly.

I found Dan to tutor ACT English/Reading for my friend's son who is an English learner and has hard of hearing problem. Dan taught him 21 lessons over three months. Dan is a responsible and patient tutor. He taught the student strategies of taking on the ACT problems. The student feels he is much better prepared now to take the coming ACT test.

Dan was was able to help me identify the difference of writing a policy paper from a research paper. He aligned the prompt to organize the outline of my paper which made sure I wrote about all the criteria covered in the paper. Dan had some knowledge about my topic and we were able to discuss the essence of my paper and write down questions to answer throughout the outline. I recommend before making the appointment to print the prompt and have content for him to work with.
