I am an American English speaker who is dedicated to training adult speakers of other languages to improve and become fluent in English. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for the past ten years to adult professionals and university students from around the world. I have taught students in Mexico, China, Japan, Russia, Turkey, Germany, and Nigeria, I help students improve their speaking, listening, writing, reading, and writing skills, I have helped students prepare for their TOEFL and IELTS examinations and have edited professional and scholastic papers for publication. Currently I am working online with Chinese students but I wish to broaden my student base to include students from other countries. My lessons have a structured format but this format is flexible and is tailored to the specific goals, needs, and desires of each student. In each class the student and I focus on the goals the student wants to reach in their learning process and on the student's preferred methods of achieving these goals. In this way, the students are ensured a quick and efficient way of increasing their English language skills in both their professional and personal lives.

I am TESOL certified with a final score of 97% and hold a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude.
