About Latrisha

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2004, after which, I entered into the world of Mental Health. I have worked in several psychology driven/mental health positions, giving me real life experience in the field of Psychology. Since 2008, I have taught psychology and sociology undergraduate courses and other courses directly related to both topics. Each course was comprised of relevant reading, content and assignments that I created to facilitate the learning of the undergraduate course I was teaching.

I have also taught other non-psychology/sociology related course that are relevant to the particular school I was teaching. For instance, I taught a few Juvenile Justice and reading/writing courses at one institution. In addition, I have also taught college prep and critical thinking classes for a few institutions. These courses build on assignments relevant to becoming a college student: how to read your books, taking notes, talking with your teachers, dealing with stress, how to use basic email and Microsoft programs, and much more. I am currently an adjunct professor for two colleges and universities in the MO/KS areas. I believe that everyone needs help and with my background and well versed classroom and work experiences I believe I can assist you all in these areas.

If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
