I hold a Ph.D. in physics and was teaching US undergraduate and graduate students for many years. My teaching experience includes one-on-one tutoring, lectures, studios, labs, mentoring student research to help students with advanced topics for their research projects.

Having 7+ years of teaching experience as a college professor, I know how difficult it can be for students to master certain topics. They need individual attention and one-on-one interaction, which is difficult to organize at the college/university settings for all students, particularly for large classes like Physics I&II. This is why I went online to help students like you to succeed. I greatly enjoy teaching, particularly one-to-one teaching, not just because I can address specific weaknesses, but because together we can make it an exciting journey to success. Relying on your natural curiosity we will venture through the toughest topics is if we are discovering them anew. This worked very well for my students in past but was limited by class size and time.

Whether it is calculus-based physics, electronics, thermodynamics, or some other “impossible” topic, it is really just a matter of perception. Physics is not based on memorization - it relies on few logical connections. These connections, once you realize them, bring the entire picture to light. What you perceived as hard suddenly comes to focus as if it is your own discovery. Many advanced physics topics rely on math, quite heavy math. Yet even there, the trick that worked for my students was not memorization, but getting few logical relations that will carry you through impossible-looking formulas.

Our journey will involve work and will require persistence. Yet, we can make it a journey of discoveries that we both will enjoy, and that will bring you not just to an "A" grade, but to the level of understanding that will open doors to many new opportunities beyond a specific subject.

Physics Professor, years of research and teaching experience, teaching US Undergraduate and Graduate students, tutoring High School students. Interactive one-on-one online teaching strategy with state-of-the-art technology tools. Years of research as computational and theoretical physics scientist in top government labs for Department of Defense and Department of Energy, focusing on numerical modeling (using c/c++) and large scale computing / parallel computing (up to about 1000 CPU cores) with MPI and openMP. I have also being teaching embedded systems, such as Arduino (in general or atmega328P, in depth) for past 5 years for natural sciences majors.
Mathematica

Mathematica

I am a theoretical Physicist. My research have been heavily relying on Mathematica for about 20 years, including functional analysis, symbolic algebra, data analysis, differential equations, linear algebra, and, of course, composition of 2D and 3D figures. I have published numerous papers with almost every single figure produced in Mathematica. For the past 7 years, I've been teaching Mathematica to my students at the university.

Great Tutor and very helpful

I was struggling with my Predictive Analytics HW so I scheduled a session with Alex. Alex is very knowledgeable about higher-level Mathmatics and Statistic concepts and did a great job of explaining. For those who struggle with Mathematics and statistics, Alex would be a great help. Def would schedule a future session with him.
