I enjoy mathematics and understand it well. I majored in actuarial science and have passed the first seven exams and currently hold an ACAS designation. I hold a masters degree in actuarial science from Maryville University of St. Louis. I've tutored several people in mathematics throughout high school and college. I enjoy all areas of math. I can tutor math at most levels. My tutoring methods are mainly to do problems as that is the best way to understand math.

I value not only learning formulas, but thinking through them intuitively. I think that if students truly understand formulas and do not just memorize them they will be able to apply them much more on exam problems.
