I am a retired teacher, more or less, but also am an adjunct instructor of ESL at a college near to Columbia, Missouri. I teach ESL at this college, Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri. I commute two days a week, mornings and early afternoon, Tuesdays and Thursdays, but am available evenings on those days and available at all hours the rest of the week and weekends. I can teach language immersion, as well, having attended.
I have an immense ESL and Spanish teaching and learning personal library, a value of $2000 or more for use, complete courses in ESL learning, Interchange courses of Jack Richards, the grammar series and courses of Betty Azar, and much more. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
