Minnesota State University Moorhead (English Education)
Hi, I'm Ashley. I am originally from the town of Moorhead, MN. I moved to the Twin Cities almost two years ago and I absolutely love it! I hold a teaching license in English and love to read and write. I also have a degree in English Education. I have worked with students from 5th grade through college level. I am passionate about helping others learn, and I especially enjoy working with students in a one-on-one setting.
In my free time, I love to explore restaurants and cafes in St. Paul and Minneapolis. I love to journal, read a variety of subjects, cook, bake, and listen to music. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their likes and interests. I look forward to helping you with any tutoring needs you have.
I am proficient in writing, spelling, grammar, and reading comprehension. I strive to understand your unique learning style so our sessions will be productive and beneficial for you. I look forward to helping you with your ACT/SAT prep, English related assignments, or reading and writing skills.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
