The mechanism by which I do this is by equipping my students with effective study tools, tips, and strategy. Learning how to learn is essential for any student, and I can honestly say that students whom I have taught benefit from a basic introduction to test-taking methods and direction about strategic study habits. I believe this is the best way to establish a foundation for the topic content that will then occupy the majority of the focus in the tutoring session. I am able to teach students how to simplify complicated charts, lists, dates, and large quantities of information, in order to help students understand the big picture without losing detail.
I have tutored many students in government and political science topics for over 3 years. I have extensive knowledge about American Court Systems, Trials, and both State and Federal governments. I am familiar with the philosophy behind governments and am well-versed in politics from the time of the Greek city states till now. I am also well versed in classic, modern, and current literature. I have had written over 2000 pages of content during my university experience, and aided students in proof-reading, editing, and outlining essays in various reading and writing classes. I know how to maximize the use of time in order to make the most out of any session that I have with a student, and leave them feeling confident and clear-headed about the subject at hand.
