I did my both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from Saint Mary University. The Bachelor's degree in Mathematics is a four-year program that requires a minimum of 120 credit hours of coursework. This program focuses on the foundations of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. The Master's degree in Mathematics is a two-year program that requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework. This program focuses on the advanced topics in mathematics, such as number theory, graph theory, topology, and complex analysis.
I have been teaching and tutoring for more than 4 years. My teaching methods and approaches are mostly based on helping students understand the concepts by using real-life examples and problem-solving techniques. I also like to use visual aids such as diagrams and charts to help explain difficult concepts. I also like to use cooperative learning activities to help my students learn in a fun and engaging way. I also like to encourage students to ask questions and think critically about the material they are learning. I believe that by doing this, students can gain a deeper understanding of the material which will help them to become more successful in their studies.
I have been teaching for a few years in a variety of contexts, including one-on-one tutoring and volunteer experience. I have taught students ranging from 14 to 25 years old. In a one-on-one setting, I have tutored in all different areas of math primarily calculus, algebra, trigonometry, and high school math. Through volunteer experience, I have provided enrichment activities in art and music.
