Hey there, I'm Alex! I'm new to the Wyzant platform but have over 5 years of teaching experience across many disciplines and age levels! I currently work as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota.

I have two degrees: one in Aerospace Engineering and another in Computer Science -- I'm currently working on my PhD in Aerospace, specializing in fluid mechanics. I have taught a wide variety of subjects including all things STEM, music lessons, and even English at many skill-levels and age groups. I strongly believe in service-based leadership, so it's always a question of how I can adapt to the students' needs rather than the other way around.

I'm passionate about providing a quality educational experience, and I'm grateful to have received high praises and reviews for being an exceptional TA by my coworkers and students here at the University of Minnesota.

Some information on my background and qualifications:

Scored 35 on the ACT Math, taken math courses up to Linear Algebra, Multi-variable Calculus and Differential Equations.

Scored 35 on ACT Science, degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science. Industry experience in engineering and computer software.

Let me know how I can help, I look forward to meeting and working with you!

The Best C++ Tutor I Know

Alex would have to be the best C++ tutor I know and the price is truly worth it. I am not really good at coding but when I booked my first session with Alex, he made sure that I knew what I was doing and was able to finish the code on time. If you don't know what something means then let Alex know as he will go over in detail what a certain program does. I would defiantly recommend Alex to anyone who is starting out in C++ or has been in it for years like me.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Alex didn't just solve my coding problem. He walked me through every step and we went over all the code together. It was a great learning experience working with him because I could actually understand every step of the project I was working on. Definitely recommend him!
