Hi, I’m Aishwarya! I’m a rising second year medical student at Mayo Clinic and am currently interested in pursuing a career in Neuroradiology. I attended Johns Hopkins University for undergraduate studies, where I completed a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience.
My tutoring experiences go as far back as high school, when I worked with elementary school students in English and Math. During college, I served as a teaching assistant for General Biology 1 and 2 as well as an upper level Neuroscience course, Behavioral Endocrinology. The most valuable lesson I have learned is the importance of flexibility in approach and the ability to grasp quickly the individualized needs of each student. With the adequate tools that are most optimal for learning, I am confident that every student has the capability of being successful in their goals. As a tutor, I am here to help my students realize their goals and utilize learning tools to their advantage.
I hope to provide a comfortable, relaxed environment where students can not only thrive academically but internalize the applications of what they learn to the real world. Knowledge is an incredibly empowering resource to visualize how the world can be better advanced, and it is my objective for my students to transform rote classroom learning into foundations for higher order thinking and creativity.
I am available to tutor both online and in-person and can be flexible to accommodate students’ schedules. If you have any further questions or are interested in working with me, please feel free to reach out! I look forward to working with you.
During high school, I obtained perfect scores in the Math section of my SAT, SAT Math II subject test, and the PSAT math section. I am enthusiastic about using testing strategies and fundamental concepts in math to teach students to recognize patterns and detect quickly important information within the question stem that will help them streamline the process to achieving the correct answer while saving time.
