I just finished my first year of undergraduate schooling at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. I love teaching and tutored at school in English, reading, and theater. I have been working in the theater since I was in 7th grade, and love to read and write. I love working with students of any age and helping students to a solution to any problem.
I enjoy being creative in my free time. I often draw, paint, or take photographs to de-stress. Reading is among one of my favorite hobbies. I aspire to receive a degree in Theater and Business Management, with a minor in English.
I took English classes through high school, as well as two high level English courses in undergraduate study at Hamline University.
I find helping students with spelling and grammar to be very rewarding. As well as taking English courses throughout high school, I have taken two high level English courses with focus on grammar and spelling-teaching techniques in undergraduate study at Hamline University.
I have been working in a the theater since 7th grade, in positions including Stage Management, Lighting Design, Sound Design, Acting, Props, Costumes, and Make-up. Upon entering undergraduate study at Hamline University, I completed an in-depth analysis of the text of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
I have many years of experience with photography and paint medium art. I worked as Photography Editor for a High School's school newspaper for 3 years.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
