University of Minnesota , Morris (Biology)
I'm passionate about learning and teaching all things science, with a particular interest in Human Anatomy & Physiology, as well as general human pathology and biology/evolution.
I have tutored for Anatomy & Physiology I/II for 2 semesters in college at the University of Minnesota, Morris, and regularly refresh/read just for fun and out of interest. Biology/evolution of biodiversity is fun, too!
I love helping others learn and understand the material they struggle with. Applying knowledge to the real world helps retention and generates curiosity. I like to simplify things to see the big picture, but I love the nitty-gritty details because that is where things happen.
Grammar is a science. It CAN be learned!
I love helping others (i.e., teaching) learn about science whether they love it or hate it. My satisfaction comes from your "eureka" moments or good exam grades. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
