I am a current undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University, but originally from a small town in Minnesota. I am a current undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University, but originally from a small town in Minnesota. While my academic studies are highly focused on a pre-medicine tract, outside of school I enjoy skiing, travelling, and spending times with my friends and family. I am a member of a student-run medical review and an organization for a medical symposium hosted every spring.

I like tutoring and am interested in tutoring on a professional level because I highly believe that a one-on-one conversation about a subject is very important in a student's ability to master a topic. The traditional lecture-style classrooms are more closed to questions and make it harder to facilitate a discussion. I hope to be a continuous resource for all of my students during our tutoring time and after, should they have any questions that arise after their mastery of a topic.

I have studied algebra thoroughly, recently completing a calculus two for the biological sciences course. Additionally, I have scored a 36 on the math section of the ACT and have taken several years of algebra as a basis for these qualifications.

My current major is Molecular and Cellular Biology and Johns Hopkins University and have completed AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry previously, all with grades of an A.

My second major is Spanish at Johns Hopkins University. I have been taking Spanish for 13 years, completing AP Spanish Language and Culture, AP Spanish Literature and Culture, and a month-long study abroad program in Salamanca, Spain. I am currently taking advanced Spanish courses through my university.

My teaching style is very hands-on, although some topics have to be taught through a lecture-like method, most of the activities that I like to do are hands-on, interactive problem sets in order to allow the student to develop the skills themselves, as opposed to being lectured to. I am always open to different schedules as I understand that everyone has something different going on in their lives. Online teaching
