The College of St. Scholastica (Mathematics)
Graduating from the College of St. Scholastica with a degree in Mathematics, I have developed a love for numbers as well as a great fulfillment when I am given the opportunity to pass this along to students. Over the past several years I have been given the opportunity to provide private teaching in Mathematics for numerous students from various backgrounds. As a result, I am open and able to teach students of all backgrounds and levels, and am fully experienced in all levels of mathematics.
With my tutoring, I strive to provide the best possible teaching to each of my students, as well as instill a greater appreciation for the subject. In this way, each student will not only get through the course at hand, but will also develope a motivation to continue their studies in the years to come. In addition, I work to keep each student challenged and involved, while taking care not to leave them overwhelmed. I also strive to adapt my teaching style to best fit each student's natural learning process. As a result, each student will be encouraged to learn in a process that is personalized for them so as to provide the most effective teaching possible. Each week I will regularly assign homework problems to keep the student engaged throughout the week.
I am fully open to providing teaching in most subjects of Mathematics, including ACT Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus, Differential Equations, Discrete Math, Geometry, Linear Algebra, Prealgebra, Precalculus, Probability, SAT Math, Statistics, Trigonometry.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
