I am a native German speaker with a Masters Degree in Education. I have many years of teaching experience in German and ESL.
I am a skilled and fun German tutor. In my opinion, being a native speaker is a minimum requirement for a good German tutor. However, I also believe that just being a native speaker does not mean you are also a good teacher. For that, you need teaching skills. I offer both, as I also have a Master's degree in Education. Furthermore, I have many years of hands-on experience teaching German both to individuals and groups. I have even designed and taught my own German course. I also believe that teaching a foreign language must be mostly immersion focused! Individualization is also key. Finally, I make the lessons fun and use lots of visuals, role-playing, and games.
I am also available to tutor ESL. Having once been an ESL learner myself, I have a lot of empathy and a clear understanding of the challenges involved in learning English as a second language. Once again, I utilize the immersion method, role playing, and games.
I look forward in helping you achieve your goals. I love to teach and am totally committed to giving you my best. I am a native German speaker with a Masters Degree in Education. I have many years of teaching experience in German and ESL.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
