About William

I've tutored over 75 MBA and undergraduate college students in financial accounting, managerial accounting, and corporate finance over the past three years.

I taught financial accounting on a part-time basis for 10 years as an adjunct instructor at the University of St. Thomas. My financial management experience includes positions as CFO, Treasurer, and Controller with responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. I'm a long time member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Minnesota Society of CPAs.

My tutoring style is collaborative and interactive based on learning through dialogue. I help students understand and apply accounting/finance principles for solving quantitative problems—with results often exceeding their initial expectations.

Students describe me as knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and professional. They appreciate that I focus on meeting their specific needs and accommodating their learning style. Please refer to the Student Feedback page for other positive comments.

My tutoring schedule is flexible. I’m available in the afternoon or evening on weekdays and Sundays, and in the morning or afternoon on Saturdays.

I look forward to working with you!
