I'm Cole. I'm currently a sophomore astrophysics student at Princeton University, where I'm also pursuing certificates in mathematics and computer science.

I believe education is the gateway to an inquisitive, critical mind that can not only help one acquire a fulfilling career, but also can help one find their place in the world. I'd love to contribute to these goals by helping you through the most challenging times in your academic career.

Having endured a number of difficult mathematics courses in my life, I've been forced to hone my own learning style into one that's incredibly efficient and effective. Luckily, my approach is quite universal! I will not only teach you the concepts needed to improve the grade in your mathematics course, but also will teach you this approach so that you can proceed much more efficiently in your future mathematics courses.

As an astrophysics student, I've developed an immense appreciation for not only the beauty of the universe but also the physical principles underlying its mechanisms. Together, we will embark on a holistic journey through the development of your physics knowledge, beginning with general concepts explained with real-world examples, proceeding with the nitty-gritty mathematics and problem-solving techniques, and ending with a reconnection to those real-world examples to produce not only an improvement in grade but also a deeper appreciation for the subject and the universe as a whole.

Please feel free to reach out to me for more information and to schedule a lesson any time–I'm quick to respond. I hope we can unite to embark on this learning journey together!

Last year, I completed Princeton University's introductory astrophysics course, Topics in Modern Astronomy. Throughout the semester, I helped fellow students through problem sets by not only walking them through their technical, mathematical errors, but also by helping them to better explain the concepts as a whole. Additionally, I've completed the physics and calculus sequences, so my astrophysics-specific knowledge lies on a strong foundation.
