Gustavus Adolphus College (Spanish)
Hi there! My name is James and I'm currently a student at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota. I'm studying Economics and Spanish and I couldn't be happier with the school/programs I've chosen. In addition to being a student, I am also a Spanish tutor at Gustavus. I started tutoring in my sophomore year of high school, I went to Eden Prairie High School, and have been doing it ever since. I personally believe tutoring is an invaluable resource for all students, especially those learning a foreign language. Language learning takes time and patience, something that a student is often not provided in the traditional classroom setting. I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to share my passion with others, helping and inspiring them to continue their studies in foreign language.
I am proficient in Spanish according to University of Minnesota standards.
I have tutored both high school and university level Spanish for 3+ years.
All of my students have demonstrated positive improvement in their Spanish speaking skills.
If you're looking to learn Spanish and live in the Twin Cities/SW Minnesota, please contact me! I would love to help you gain or refine your skills in the Spanish language. ¡Hasta pronto! Hi there! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
