Hello, Nick here! I am a graduate from the UofM with bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. One of the many things I've learned as a professional engineer is how to explain difficult and complex topics to students quickly and concisely, so that both our time can be used efficiently in these busy times. Hello, Nick here! I am a graduate from the UofM with bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. One of the many things I've learned as a professional engineer is how to explain difficult and complex topics to students quickly and concisely, so that both our time can be used efficiently in these busy times. I find most of the time when a student is struggling, they are only missing one piece to the puzzle. Finding that missing piece and seeing everything click is what keeps me teaching.

My experience as a tutor started in college where I spent a few hours a week explaining freshman/sophomore level mathematics to my fellow dorm mates (I had already taken these courses as a PSEO student). The years following (both during and after graduation), I've tutored relatives & peers on both high school level mathematics, as well as on general personal finance. Most recently, my teaching activities have primarily been in a professional setting, teaching co-workers and clients how to develop and manage specific engineering tasks in my field of work.

As a professional engineer, there is not a day that goes by where I don't utilize the math learned in these classes. If you'd like real world examples of the problems in your textbook, I'd be happy to talk it out further.

My schedule allows for me to be available most mornings, as well as weekends if you let me know ahead of time. If you have a short question that doesn't require a full session, feel free to send it to me and I can send you my thoughts.
