I have a master in French literature, culture, history and the language from an accredited university. I graduated "suma cum laude".
I have taught at all levels of schooling: elementary, middle school, high school and university. All levels are a great challenge for me. I am very patient and when I tutor I always find the best way to help my student learn, I am also a native speaker of the language.
I am always happy when I can improve their learning. My aim is really for my students to learn to speak read and write the language and also to assimilate the culture and history of France.
I always give homework so I can assess the learning and comprehension level of my students. If something as not been understood I will repeat the lesson. I am a very patient tutor.
I am teaching some senior students at the moment, 2 hours per week.
I am asking for a 24 hour notice by email if the student will be absent. I will do the same if I will be absent.
I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you improve your French.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
