Louise was an excellent resource and tutor, she is very knowledgeable of the material, I am looking forward to meeting with her again in hopes to take my exam this spring.
Louise is an awesome tutor, very knowledgeable about topics that we discussed. As she stated it is quite a drive. Thanks for the info and your help was greatly appreciated. The Barnes and Nobles we thought was a good place to meet turns out not so, they had a high school band playing outside the store, then later to play inside the store, very distracting. Not a good place to have a band play, and it wasn't even Christmas/holiday music!!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Within my nursing career, I served as an NCLEX item writer and have been active in teachng various NCLEX Reviews. I have knowledge of the content areas tested on the NCLEX, including OB, Peds, and Mental Health. I write exam/test questions that are like those on the NCLEX exam or the course that I teach.
