About Earl

Bio

I have been a licensed pharmacist for 30 years. I have worked almost every type of pharmacy, these include working as a Hospital Pharmacist, retail pharmacist, working for a manufacturer, and working in Nuclear pharmacy as well as PET pharmacy. I can teach math, pharmacology, and I was very adept in physics.

Right now I have lots of time to teach students and would really enjoy to help technicians understand everything they need to know for the state exam.

I have always had a proclivity for math, and I needed to take calculus in college. I must admit that much of that has slipped away but I know I am still very knowledgeable in the basic math and Algebra. I was always stellar in Algebra.

Pharmacology was always my favorite course, and to understand drug interactions you must understand basic pharmacology for the drugs, to know if they will interact.

I can still understand the basics and I enjoy teaching to students to see the light bulb come on.

I have 30 years experience as a pharmacist and I can help you learn all the requirements you need to know. I will go beyond to make sure you understand what you need to know.

Pharmacology

I have been a licensed pharmacist for 30 years now, and Pharmacology is the meat and potatoes of a Pharmacists knowledge. We have to know the pharmacology of each drug, including how it is broken down, half life, if liver breakdown which enzyme system to determine if drugs interact. We carry most of this information off the top of our head, but we can look it up if need be. Pharmacology was the one subject I understood the first time and I rarely needed to study because I just catalogued it in my brain for easy recall.
