About Gregory

I have years of tutoring experience at the college level. I'm also a certified teacher, so I've been through the teaching program. Every student that I've had has loved my tutoring. References and letters are available upon request.

I graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint in 2010. I tutored there for about 4 years. I continued to tutor privately after I graduated and went on to get certified.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ACT Math

I've taught and tutored math for several years. The math on the ACT is some of the more basic math I've tutored. I can also tutor on how to most quickly answer the questions.

Algebra 1

I've taught and tutored Algebra throughout my career. Much of the students I tutored in college were taking either college algebra or intermediate algebra. I've helped many Algebra students greatly improve their grades.

Algebra 2

I've taught and tutored Algebra throughout my career. Much of the students I tutored in college were taking either college algebra or intermediate algebra. I've helped many Algebra students greatly improve their grades.

Calculus

The majority of the classes I had in college were Calculus classes. It was also among the subjects that I tutored at the college level.

Geometry

Geometry was my favorite subject in high school. I've tutored it often, and also had geometry in college. I'm also very logical and do well at proofs.

Prealgebra

I've taught and tutored Algebra throughout my career. Much of the students I tutored in college were taking either college algebra or intermediate algebra. I've helped many Algebra students greatly improve their grades.

Precalculus

Next to Algebra, Precalculus is perhaps the subject that I tutored the most in college. I've also had all of the challenging Calculus courses that every math major takes. I am very qualified to teach this subject.
