I am currently a Learning Center Assistant/Peer Tutor for Alpena Community College, in Oscoda, Michigan. I my duties are Tutored fellow students in subjects of Basic Arithmetic, Biology, Business Mathematics, Elementary Algebra, and English.
I have also spent time as a preschool Teacher, having had some duties such as coordinating games and fun activities among children,Responsible for making lesson plans,as well as planned and organized variety of activities both for individuals and group activities.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
