Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ADHD

I have over 20 years experience working with students ages 10 and up, as a college professor and professional tutor. ADD/ADHD students in my classes are also enrolled in the ACCESS Department (tutoring/accommodations), and I coordinate with the Department to ensure these students have the support and instruction they need to be successful. I also have a history of long-term tutoring contracts working with ADD/ADHD and Autistic students through my own educational tutoring/training business.
