With over 20 years experience in the field of education and over 10 years as a tutor I have been able to see my students' grades increase and gain confidence in themselves. I have worked at K-12 charter Schools throughout the metro Detroit area. I have a Master's of Education from the University of Phoenix. The nature of my degree course has prepared me for educating individuals. It involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills.
I am a fast and accurate learner, with a keen eye for detail. I am able to take on responsibility immediately, and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it.
What I love about tutoring is being able to see my students gain knowledge of the subject they are learning. I love watching their eyes light up when the information has been understood and applied to their individual lives.

I believe that the more you study the Bible the more knowledge you gain from studying. I helped tutor my son-in-law when he was studying to become a youth pastor at Coventry college.
In 2005 I hosted an exchange student from Thailand and while her English was good she still wanted to improve her skills. As I tutored her I received more requests to help other exchange students improve their English skills. After a year of tutoring the students they had improved tremendously in their English language skills.
