I have my Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in the Biological Sciences, with a concentration in Biophysics and Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In my studies I had to master Biology, Calculus, Physics and Chemistry in equal measures, so my knowledge base is as diverse as my experience is broad. In addition I have studied Analytical Chemistry and Pharmacology extensively in order to compliment my career objectives. Thus, I have many real life examples to draw from so as to make the subject matter come alive in ways that should be complimentary to that which is learned in the classroom.

In the laboratory, I have devoted my work towards understanding the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease for over twelve years. In my research, I have become very familiar with how the brain functions and how it processes information. My goal is to help students prepare not only to learn, but to retain, knowledge so that the information is there when the application is required.

My BS was also in Biological Sciences with specialization in Molecular Biology and Biophysics. I have worked in the field of translational science (i.e. proteomics) for over 12 years. My tutoring method will involve using real life examples from oncology using cancer and cancer therapies to illustrate key ideas.

Great tutor, works well with the easily distracted.

My daughter was struggling in the worst way with science and math. My wife having a strong background in math, and myself in science were unable to help her. I interviewed several tutors before choosing Ron. Ron has come in and patiently worked with my daughter. Now, I have the fullest confidence that my daughter understands her math and science. I can't say enough about Ron. He is polite, has been prompt, tentative to my daughter's needs, and mostly patient. Ron is able to communicate with her at a level where she gets it.
