Michelle's unique talent and passion for life have catapulted her into a new dimension of creativity as a textile artist and writer. She is an Adjunct instructor and facilitator of numerous workshops and seminars alike but not limited to;Painting and photography workshops, Business Startup, Leadership development, and Fashion Forward. Her areas of speaking are vast and her commitment to self-empowerment have lent her the opportunity to speak to many women regarding being unique and loving yourself from within.
Michelle presently works for Worship Arts Conservatory, previously with Detroit Leadership academy and various other schools universities - for example, Marygrove College’s Art Infused Education program Faith Alternative Intervention Turning Hearts, and University of Michigan-tutoring program. Additionally, her works of art have been shown throughout Michigan. Michelle was featured in the Source- Women Initiative Network Charlotte. As an artist of The Month for the City of Sterling Heights and Sterling Heights TV, and she danced with The Stars of Ballet and Broadway with the World-Choreographer Debra White Hunt at the Music Hall located in Downtown Detroit. Michelle holds a Masters of Education, a Bachelor of Arts in painting, and presently pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
She has taught Algebra 1 for two years and 9th- grade students improved their academic performance.
Michelle is an outstanding tutor. As an artist who understands the artist message and desires to convey this message visually. She understands that theory and the arts go hand-in-hand with learning core subjects.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As a Artist and art teacher my background and experience in the arts include train the trainer and teaching elementary and high school students on Art Concepts. For example, line, shape, value, texture, and color. Also, utilizing various art mediums graphite pencils, charcoal, pastels, Ink, oil, watercolor, acrylic paint, and Collage.
I am an adjunct instructor. I hold a Bachelor of Art- Marygrove College and a Masters of Education And I have been teaching for 10 years. I have taught second grade through college arts. I have a passion for teaching Arts and Education.
