If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I was originally a music major in college, and I completed a year of vocal music, which included music history courses. I have also taken theater history, which included opera and other baroque music. I regularly listen to classical, romantic, and neo-classical music, including Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Handel, Chopin, DeBussy, and others. I have a strong understanding of the ways that musical culture have been influenced by political movements, and the ways in which music has changed society.

I am a licensed paramedic and an instructor for medical assistants at Career Quest. I worked on an ambulance for 8 years and was required to administer medications by protocol based on symptoms without any additional consultation with doctors. This included medication math to determine correct dosing as well as differential diagnosis and changing treatments based on patient outcomes. I proctored students and new employees in these skills and I now teach these skills to my MA students.
