About Erich

My approach to tutoring is fun, interactive, and learner centered. With an advanced background in Education, I am familiar with various learning theories and educational strategies. By bridging the theory-practice divide, I seek to reach the educational goals set by the learner and/or their guardian.

Currently, I am a PhD student at MSU studying Higher Education Administration. Also, I am the instructor for Student Leadership Training. Through this course, I have developed strong skills in learner centered teaching, active and engaged learning, and about offering constructive feedback on writing.

In May of 2012, I finished my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Prior to that, I worked in a variety of non-profit settings offering a variety of professional development and leadership training opportunities through educational workshops.

I am passionate about creating learner centered experiences that get the results parents are after.

My approach is highly individualized and specific to each learner. As a partner in learning, I seek to assess students' needs and develop a study plan around the goals that are set by the learner.
