I love small groups or working one-on-one with my students. Tutoring generally consists of either working through homework problems or supplemental instruction on the subject, as requested or as I deem beneficial to the student(s). In college I've taken Calc 1->3, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra I, Differential Equations, Probability, Mathematical Statistics, and Complex/Vector Variables. I use all my high school math in these classes, so I'm fresh and current for tutoring those subjects as well. I am enthusiastic about math and try to get my students not only to understand their classes, but to enjoy the process of finding answers. Math is fun!
I took Physics 1 in High School, and in college I've studied Electromagnetism 1->3, Electrical Engineering 1->2, Special Relativity, Classical Mechanics, Thermal Statics, and Quantum Mechanics. I've TA'd for the department in Electromagnetism and intro physics. With any physics instruction I try to teach my student process and arm their math tool belt so that they can do any problem we encounter with confidence.
