My scholastic success is significantly due to those who taught me, including the tutors who helped me get through high school, college, and law school! I thoroughly enjoy helping students work for and eventually see the results of their growth in school. I've worked with high school and middle school students as an after school tutor during high school and college, tutoring in subjects ranging from math to English to English-as-a-second-language. I was also a teacher's assistant during law school where I taught a workshop in a variety of law school subjects.
As for my experience with children, I was a church youth camp counselor for two years and led youth groups at my church for several years.
I'm pretty flexible with evening and weekend schedules. I look forward to meeting you!
I was an English major who graduated from a top tier university with high honors; I was on the dean's list each year of undergraduate college; I was an editor for my law school's flagship "Law Review"; my law review article was published in my law school journal and has been used by other law students and researchers.
As for my ESOL experience, I am a native Spanish speaker and have experience tutoring non-Spanish speakers to learn English. I can understand the difficulties associated with learning a new language but have some strategies in overcoming those obstacles!
I received top grades in all of my college history courses; I received top grades in my American legal history course during law school.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
