I have been a nurse for 30 years, and I have been teaching at a local college for the last 12 years. The classes that I have been teaching are dosage calculation, medical terminology, health concepts 1& 2 clinics, fundamental clinics. I have and it will be a nurse for 30 years.

I have tutored at the local college for dosage calculations. I feel strong about student's doing well in dosage calculations because it is a requirement in his or her job to know calculations of medications when they administer them to patients or clients.

I feel with the history of doing well in Algebra in high school I gave the knowledge to tutor PreAlgebra.

Being a nurse for 30 years has given me plenty of experience to be a nursing tutor. The vast majority of those years has been in the Obstetrical area.

I have always loved to sew, crosstitch, knit and just learning to crochet. I make mittens for the Adopt a Family program here in our town.

My students that I have say that I'm easy to get along with and easy to speak with. They also told me that I want the students to learn and I explain things fully to them in order for them to understand the concepts. I'm also told from my students that's it apparent I love my job and love being a nurse. They tell me I'm very knowledgeable in my field.
