About Dharmesh

For the past 5 years, I have been working part-time as an adjunct math faculty member at a local community college. I have been teaching various math courses ranging from beginning algebra to pre-calculus, both online and in a classroom environment. I am a certified online instructor.
Prior to this, while pursuing my Master's Degree at University of Toledo, I helped undergrad students with different subjects in the field of Electrical Engineering and Physics.
I have always enjoyed teaching various concepts of Physics, Math and Electrical Engineering as a volunteer. I enjoy teaching one on one equally as much as in small groups or in a classroom setting.
Over the years, I have assisted in helping write course material for Math and Electrical Engineering subjects.
I love working with learners of all ages. I like to break the teaching material into more easy to understand form. I am very passionate about teaching. I love to pass on the knowledge I have and have a easy rapport with learners.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ACT Math

I have, during the course of my engineering degree, scored well at math courses at a much higher level. Also in the last 15 years of teaching all areas of math, I am well qualified to teach ACT Math topics.

Algebra 1

I have during the course of my engineering degree scored well at math courses at a much higher level. Also in the last 15 years of teaching all areas of math, I am well qualified to teach algebra 1 topics. And especially the last five years I have exclusively taught at least one course of beginning and intermediate algebra each semester at Jackson Community College.

Algebra 2

During the course of my journey to my Masters Degree, I have excelled at Algebra 2 topics and further ahead also done very well in advanced calculus classes. And have been evaluated by my peers periodically to ensure I surpass the required standards for teaching Algebra 2 level.

Electrical Engineering

I have a diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications. I also have a bachelor's degree in Electronics. And I have a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. I have helped teach various electrical engineering subjects to undergrad students as part of being a teaching assistant during my master's program.

Linear Algebra

I have taught PreCalc at Jackson College as an adjunct, which uses parts of Linear Algebra in the text used. I have also tutored Linear Algebra at undergrad level.
