Hi, I have experience teaching Preschool to 12th grade. I have taught general and special education with co-teaching, resource room, pull out, and I have extensive experience with ABA and ELA strategies. My major is general science and math, but I am highly qualified in all 4 academic core curriculums. In the past I have tutored students to take the ACT/SAT, reading, and math.
Currently, I am setting up programs and supervising them for ABA therapy to students. I work with any age and make programs based on the needs of the student, not on what a curriculum says. I use the curriculum to enhance the skills being taught.

Bachelors in Medical Technology; can teach any high school science, but physics. I have my Masters in Ed. within special education. My teaching certificate is valid.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have worked in a cross categorical special education classroom for 7+ yrs., and worked with students with ADHD for 20+ years, as many of my students had this diagnosis. Under special education rules, this qualifies me to work with students with ADHD. I also have taken many classes in behavior management with Cognitive Behavior Therapy training.
I have supervised ASD classrooms for 6+ years, taken all of the MDE START trainings, and taught ASD classrooms for 4+ years. I am currently working with ABA therapy which is researched based for persons with ASD. I have a MI state teaching certificate with ASD highly qualified status.
