Bio

I have a professional teacher's license in Michigan and in North Carolina. I am dedicated to each students’ academic and social-emotional success as well as the development of self-confidence and a passion for learning. I have trained in k-8 elementary education, have a k-12 Learning Disabilities endorsement and have Montessori certification for 1st through 3rd grades. I am currently pursuing an English as a Second Language Endorsement. I have worked with students from 2 to 14 years old...

I have a professional teacher's license in Michigan and in North Carolina. I am dedicated to each students’ academic and social-emotional success as well as the development of self-confidence and a passion for learning. I have trained in k-8 elementary education, have a k-12 Learning Disabilities endorsement and have Montessori certification for 1st through 3rd grades. I am currently pursuing an English as a Second Language Endorsement. I have worked with students from 2 to 14 years old and have worked in a bilingual school in China, as well as a Spanish/English dual immersion school in the U.S. I love children and I love to teach. I am very good at helping students with disabilities!

I have taught students with a variety of disabilities, including ADHD and ADD. Additionally, I have experience adapting curriculum for Attention Deficit students. In fact, one of my ADHD students attained gifted and talented status after working with me for a year.
