I love watching my students succeed and providing them the skills to do so. I am a graduate from the University of California San Diego with a Psychology Bachelor's and currently have my medical doctorate. I have been tutoring the past 15 years in English, ESL, grammar, reading comprehension, public speaking, writing skills, Algebra 1, 2, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, pre-calculus, Calculus 1, 2, 3, physics, biology, physiology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics and coach many sports. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. I have a strong psychology background in mental disorders and childhood mental disorders.
I have tutored and worked with ADD/ADHD students for over 4 years at the elementary, middle, high school and college levels. I greatly enjoy helping others on multidimensional levels including holistic therapy in addition to academics.


I have been teaching anthropology for over 4 years now at the high school and undergraduate level. I greatly enjoy teaching and tutoring anthropology since I like social sciences and the relationship to biological sciences. I have helped many high school and college students study for upper division and lower division courses in anthropology, help them write papers and publications in this area in addition to help young individuals at the junior college level in this area as well.

Art History

I have taken advanced art history courses and studied them in England for a semester in addition to have been teaching art history essays and paper writing skills for over 3 years now. I greatly enjoy all types of art history and helping others explore their interest and passion for art history and analyzing art works of different backgrounds and techniques. I like to help others understand their coursework in this area and provide thought provoking idea development about the individualism of the art they study.


I have been tutoring the ASVAB for several years now all sections: math, language, history, science and Reading. I tutor all those subjects individually in addition to helping many students pass the ASVAB.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I have tutored and mentored students with Autism and Asperger's for over 2 years successfully. I greatly enjoy helping others and dealing with special needs students, as I have developed much patience, drive and diligence in promoting self-esteem, confidence and success based on effort rather than results in addition to working in groups and encouraging collaboration.

I have tutored elementary and middle school students with Autism and implement my psychology background from undergraduate studies. I have also exposure to mental disorders and childhood disorders.


I've played baseball for 11 years and at the high school varsity level and beyond in American Legion. I have played catcher, outfield, third base, first base and pitcher. I have knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals and details of the game and have been instructing on baseball for a year.
I played with several players getting drafted into the Major Leagues now including Mike Moustakas, Andrew Lambo, Casey Hearther and several others. I can coach pitching and catching as well from little league through high school level.


I have been playing basketball competitively for 13 years and have played in an adult rec league and high school levels. I have coached for a year younger kids as a team, but also I do individual lessons for power forward, forward and center players. I played power forward for my high school team and averaged 8 points and 12 rebounds a game; I focus heavily on defense and rebounding as skills in addition to shooting and footwork.

Bible Studies

Studied Jewish Torah, Mussar ethics, Emunah, Chumash, Prophets, Tehillim, Pirkei Avot in addition to several and extensive sources of marriage counseling, monetary matters, peace in the home and faith combating depression, anxiety and stress.


I have over 2 years of weight-training, personal training and athletic training experience through weights, endurance and diet. I also deal with body-builders as some athletes do both and play many sports myself. I involve my knowledge of biochemistry of foods, nutrition in addition to physiological knowledge of the body and its workings to encourage proper muscle development.


I have experience with starting my own business and accounting and tax preparation teaching and life example analysis. I greatly enjoy teaching the study of business, I have experience for 3 years teaching the basics and beginner level of business analysis and technique. I also have experience teaching stock analysis and investment portfolio analysis. Business is a very broad topic and it is hard to cover all the basis, but I have a great deal of experience of teaching the beginners level.

Career Development

I've spent several years teaching and coaching young students and adults in career development and organization of life skills, monetary debt, investment options and portfolio analysis. Guided students for several years for college counseling, medical career advice and opportunity counseling in addition to law students, business students, engineers, psychology and research driven individuals in the sciences and psychology. Also I have counseled and trained tutors, aspiring teachers, special education matters and therapeutic techniques involving speech therapy, anxiety and mood disorder coping mechanisms, drug and alcohol abuse and dependency in addition to ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism, Asperger's and mental retardation.


I have tutored for the CBEST for over 2 years now and teach advanced math and English subjects, so the content of the math and English are relatively easy to teach and relate to in regards to concepts in addition to good test taking skills. I also teach many other tests.


Can teach and have taught several years beginners chess, introductory course to the game, basic strategy and skill development. I greatly enjoy playing chess in my leisure time and I love helping new beginners to the game understand basic strategy, technique and application of moves and psychological aspects of the game. I have counseled students for college for over 3.5 years and greatly enjoy helping others. I involve a holistic approach of using extracurricular activities, SAT I,II, ACT scores, GPA, state of residency, financial capability and desire of career or education to make decisions to choosing a college/school or career path.

Computer Science

I have tutored in computer science and programming courses such as C, C++, Java, Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator and web design for over 3 years and love doing so. I help computer science majors and non computer science majors for projects, coursework and individual learning bases. I have a great deal of experience in this area and love teaching it to undergarduate, graduate and other students.


Teach and aid individuals seeking to start/begin cooking or who are advanced. Teach baking skills, kosher cooking, pasta cooking, steak sauce concoction, cocktail and drink option and bar-tending skills in addition to omelet flipping and creation; soup making, cake decorating, cookie design, fish smoking, broiling and meals for kids, college students or fancy parties you name it!


I have tutored Dyslexic students and students with other learning disabilities for over 3 years now. I use my extensive background in psychology, abnormal psychology, childhood disorders and learning disorder therapy to cater to individual and general needs of students for school and daily-life.

Ear Training

I have several years of experience working with hearing impaired, elderly, mentally handicapped and persons with diseases that degenerate hearing. I have worked with elderly, children and adults with hearing impaired and in the stages of hearing deterioration.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have tutored all elementary math, English, Reading, Language and Study skills for 2 years and have had prior experience with all levels of kids in intelligence and some disabilities as well including ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and Mental Retardation. I have tutored ESL for 3 years now to many various kinds of ethnic backgrounds and student age levels. I enjoy helping those who struggle with the language in order to better their lives here in America and succeed vocationally and communicatively.


I have been a personal trainer and workout instructor for over 3 years now with a balanced and holistic approach to fitness. This includes a heavy emphasis on nutritional balance and intake in addition to the proper combination of cardiovascular activity and weight training to strengthen skeletal muscles and the cardiac muscles. I also combine my science background to help others understand the biochemical processes of fitness in addition to the athletic and physical benefits.


I played University football for the University of Kent as an outside linebacker and love the game. I currently play for a semi-pro team: the California Longhorns in Reseda and for Pierce College. I play Linebacker, Fullback and Tight End. I have great knowledge of the game, as I play it currently and have played for 2 years. I can organize and conduct defensive and offensive schemes and alignments, as well as coach individual position responsibilities and footwork.

General Computer

I am familiar with computer setup, fdisk windows operation setup and internet/web address configuration. I also am able to fix software and hardware problems in addition to providing services in backing up software and installing software efficiently.

General Music

I am a voice and music teacher, and graduate from San Francisco Conservatory of Music teaches history of music, playing basic music for piano, understanding melodies, resonance and techniques behind singing and music in addition to focus on classical, pop, childhood and professional singing/lyric skills.


I have tutored genetics for over 3 years now in regards to advanced University level genetics, genetics for the MCAT, DAT, genetics for the GED and high school and genetics for laboratory practice teaching techniques for analyzing DNA constructs, mutations and trait heredity.

Hard Of Hearing

I have several years of experience working with hearing impaired, elderly, mentally handicapped and persons with diseases that degenerate hearing. I have worked with elderly, children and adults with hearing impaired and in the stages of hearing deterioration.


I have been teaching Hebrew for several years conversational, reading, writing and Bar/Bat Mitzvah education. Conversing and Writing for the beginning and intermediate levels are much more comfortable for me.

I took Hebrew for over 6 years at grade school and at the university level; I greatly enjoy helping others learn to speak, read and write Hebrew and especially enjoy teaching Torah learning.


I tutor elementary, middle and high school students currently for over 3 years in math, science and English. I am familiar with the test and teach advanced science, math and English courses. I have tutored for the ISEE for over 1.5 years now and greatly enjoy helping students.


I am proficient in many computer topics and teaching programming classes in for both pcs and macintosh use. I have taught macintosh and pc help for the past 3 years including help with programming, operating systems, hardware and program usage and adaptation between types of computers. I have been teaching macintosh use to beginners and intermediate level transitioners and newcomers to the computer for several years by helping with software conversion and update, hardware conversion and update and networking issues in addition to training how to use the computer and features.


I have been tutoring the MCAT, DAT and OAT science portions for over 2 years. More specifically I teach the general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physiology and cell biology portions of the MCAT. In addition, I teach and evaluate the writing essays and help some in verbal sections. I took the MCAT in 2008 and received a 31R and excelled well in the science portions of the exam.


I have taken advanced upper division microbiology courses and labs at the university level in addition to teaching the subject matter for over 2 years. I greatly enjoy teaching many areas of upper division biology and science courses including microbiology, micro physiology and cell biology.

Microsoft Outlook

I am very familiar with Microsoft Outlook, as I use it on a daily basis in regards to networking, attaching files, sending emails, files, requests online or offline. Outlook is very user friendly and fun to teach.

Microsoft Windows

I am very familiar with Microsoft Windows and set up computers for other for over 4 years. I am used to navigation issues, internet issues, personalization, optimization, program installation, hardware setup, configuration and fdisk.


I have tutored the NCLEX and teaching tests for several years now including the individual subjects such as biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, anatomy, chemistry and organic chemistry. The NCLEX for nursing involves all these subjects and I have experience with these subjects individually in addition to the preparation for this test and advanced nursing courses.

Networking (Computer)

I have several years of computer set up and wireless device networking experience including hard drives, internet, faxes, modems, computer networking, router and printer, accessories, mouse, keyboard and any other device set up/networking.


I have counseled many in nutrition with knowledge of physical fitness, biochemistry, nutritional biochemistry and molecular breakdown of fats, carbohydrates, proteins in addition to proper exercise, health and physiologically strengthening techniques. Also, psychological motivation and counseling in tandem with physical nutrition maximizes results.

Organic Chemistry

I have taken several advanced university level organic chemistry courses and labs. I also have taken advanced metabolic biochemistry, work in several analytical chemistry labs. I have been teaching organic chemistry for 3 years and enjoy focusing on reactions and solidification of mechanisms. I also teach the organic chemistry portion for the MCAT and can focus on those results.


I have worked on phonics with special needs students and young children. Proper pronunciation, sounds, and noises are important in developing strong language skills and practice.


I have tutored the PSAT, SAT I,II and ACT for several years and love helping the students. I work with the mathematics, writing and English sections all efficiently, although most people need help with the math, so I do more of that work. I also teach advanced English, writing and comprehension in addition to advanced mathematics.

Public Speaking

I have been coaching public speech for 3 years and love helping others. I also work with social phobia students and help develop self-esteem, confidence and improve diction and speaking skills. I use my psychology of speech background in addition to abnormal psychology background to aid students in overcoming fear and working on mechanics of speech and proper delivery using tone and attitude.

Social Studies

I have tutored social studies and history for over 5 years of middle school, elementary school and high school students. We go over reading skills, writing essays about history and study skills.


I teach sociology for several years and aid students in high school, university and junior college seeking help with study skills, understanding of sociology, paper/essay writing and research paper writing skills.

Special Needs

I have worked with special needs students for over 3 years in tutoring English, writing and basic math skills. I work with students with Mental Retardation, Autism, Asperger's, Dyslexia, ADHD, Mood disorders, Anxiety Disorders, phobias, depression, bipolar I,II and a combination of other issues.


I have coached speech development and public speaking skills and techniques over 5 years for all ages. I stress positive reinforcement, attitude, knowledge and confidence in the material in addition to good eye-contact, tone, demeanor and physical gestures.


I have worked on spelling with young children and some adults with ESL for over 4 years in addition to many other topics involved with spelling. Most students I've worked with are special needs or very young students.

Study Skills

I have been teaching and guiding students and adults with study skills for several years. I mostly work with high school, middle school and university students on how to budget time and set priorities. Also, motivation and finding motivation is key to success.
Study skills consists of involving breaks, determination and setting goals individual and general for each student in order to achieve their desired results.


I have instructed swimming for children for 3 years now and greatly enjoy teaching.
I also have instructed and coached water polo and swimming techniques for the intermediate and beginner levels. Ages 0-10 typically is the age range I work with, but am open to teaching all ages and groups. I prefer group sessions and usually teach at the student's home pool or a local community pool. I focus on technique, proper breathing and the healthy physiology of swimming.

Voice (Music)

As a graduate from the Master's Program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, I specialize and am an expert in classical voice and opera technique.

I hold current roles as a Soprano in Don Giovanni and teach all levels of students from young children to adult opera singers. I focus on Alexander technique, proper support, structure of body and resonating features of the voice and physiology. I pay special attention to the physiology and foundational techniques of voice in order to provide strong mechanics and develop special style.


I have played volleyball for 8 years. I started playing Setter, Outside Hitter and Opposite Hitter at Chatsworth High, who won many CIF titles and Birmingham High. I played higher level club volleyball for 3 years at Santa Monica Beach Club, where my first year we entered the Junior Olympics Bronze Bracket in Phoenix Arizona. I have played since then on the BUSA University of Kent Volleyball Team and won the BUSA-II title. I play and teach setter, outside hitter, passing, serving, jump serving, opposite hitter, libero, middle hitter and defensive specialist.

Web Design

I have experience designing my own websites and teaching web design to high school and college students for over 4 years now. I love web design and find it very fun and exciting with the right tools. I have experience designing tutoring websites in addition to programming things for fun including hyperlink text, form input, credit card and payment processes, interlinking accounts and setting up networks and designs. I learned this at UCSD and tutor it currently and help business owners in addition to students with their coursework in web design.


I have taught and tutored biology and zoology for high school and college students for over 5 years and I love it. Biology has been a natural subject for me and I have great experience teaching and with courses in advanced biology, chemistry and science.
