“**Very knowledgeable and has lots of patience**”

I have always been good at math and computers. In junior high school, I started competing in math competitions and doing very well, usually placing in the top 25-100 in the state of Michigan throughout high school. I tutored math in college, and am able to find many ways to help a student solve a

he taught advanced maths ( Precalc) . He was able to explain the concepts in detail with step by step approach .

Kurt did great job. He arrived on time and spent quality time with my son for math topics.

He was patient and he came prepared with pen , paper, calculator.

Kurt is a very good tutor. He is extremely flexible in his schedule. There was never a question that I came to him with that he was unable to answer. Kurt was always able to give advice in terms that I was able to understand. If something that my professor covered in class was tough for me to grasp, he was always able to clear things up. I would absolutely recommend Kurt as a tutor to anyone who is struggling in math, especially Calculus.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

As an undergrad student, I took three COBOL classes, getting an "A" in each of them. I have also worked 20 years in IT, most of them programming COBOL in the business world. I have used COBOL on IBM AS/400's and IBM 3090 mainframes.

As an undergrad student, I have taken RPG, COBOL, C, Fortran, Pascal, and Assembler Languages, getting an "A" in all of them. I have a B.S. in Computer Science. I also know dBase, Basic, Visual Basic, DOS, Unix ksh, MATLAB and many others. I have worked 20 years in IT, most of them programming COBOL, RPG, JCL, dBase and others in the business world.

I have a Masters Degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics. I took Differential Equations as a Freshman, way ahead of most other students working on a math degree, getting an "A" and Advanced Differential Equations getting a "BA". I have tutored other students in DiffEq while a grad student.

I have a Masters Degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics. Discrete Math was a requirement for my undergrad degree in Computer Science, of which I have 30 years experience in the field. I received an "A" in this class at the time, along with every undergrad math class. I am also a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, the Honor Society for Mathematicians worldwide.

I have been working with DOS since DOS 2.0. I have written innumerable DOS scripts in both academia and business. I have worked in the IT field for over 20 years, using DOS even into the Windows era.

I have taken classes in all areas of Finite Math including Matrix Algebra, Linear Programming and Statistics. I have a Masters Degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics.

I have a Masters Degree in Applied & Computational Mathematics. We use MATLAB extensively in this field. While a grad student, I helped other students with their MATLAB assignments and was the MATLAB programmer on group assignments. I have 35 years of programming experience and educational background with MATLAB.
