I'm Teodora! I have graduated with distinction from Wayne State University's College of Nursing in Detroit, MI and I am a registered nurse (RN). I am certified in BLS (Basic life support). I had the privilege of accumulating clinical hours at a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), trauma/surgery unit, oncology/hematology unit, pediatric neurology unit, pulmonary unit and observational step down unit.
I am also passionate about music and I have obtained a certification in singing from Europe...

I am also passionate about music and I have obtained a certification in singing from Europe where I applied myself as an assistant teacher in a children's choir (age 5-12). In addition, I have tutored young children (age 4-7) in reading, writing and general knowledge preparing them for school.
I tutor adults who are curious and wish to obtain basic skills in reading, writing and speaking in Bulgarian from a native speaker.
Bulgarian is a phonetic language and I utilize phonics in student teaching. My humble practice has showed that understanding phonics makes learning how to read less challenging.
I believe that student-teacher communication is of prime importance throughout the learning experience. I understand that learning is not a linear process and I have a goal of doing my best to accommodate learning for obtaining best results and student satisfaction. I encourage good communications with students and parents and I welcome any resources and suggestions which might improve our learning process! I am currently completing courses in obstetrics and leadership along with clinical rotations. I participated in nursing study groups and tutoring and love working alongside with nurse-fellows. Knowledgable and Patient Tutor

Teodora is a tutor who listens to her student and understands the student's level and capabilities. She is well prepared. She is patient. It is obvious that she cares deeply about her student understanding what is being taught. She builds the student's knowledge slowly and patiently. She's an excellent teacher!
