Hello, I ask from everyone who looks over my profile to simply give me a chance and you'll see that I'm a very nice and patient tutor, who is willing to help in any way I can.
My knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is not fluent, but I am able to speak, read, write and comprehend the language to an extent. I have personally went to school for Mandarin for six months in the states, and I have just recently returned from a year long stay in China (July 2013), where I was going to school for Mandarin.
Overseas in China, I acquired some teaching experience. I was able to teach and help four women around my own age with their English studies, while in turn, they were able to help me with my Mandarin.
I have no problem with teaching anyone, though I would prefer children or adults my own age. Children retain knowledge a lot easier than most adults do and if I am among people who I would consider my peers, then my own shyness would dwindle, or perhaps not show itself at all.
I look forward to talking with you all and hopefully setting up a schedule to help with learning.
Thank you very much for your time. Hello, I ask from everyone who looks over my profile to simply give me a chance and you'll see that I'm a very nice and patient tutor, who is willing to help in any way I can.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have studied Mandarin Chinese for a year and a half now. Most of the studying occurred in China where I went to study last August (I just recently returned this July). The classes I had in China were all in Mandarin. One of my Chinese Teachers in China told me that I should try my hand at teaching and tutoring people in basic Chinese. My Chinese teacher here in the states believes that this is an excellent idea as well. I also was a teacher/tutor in China, though I was teaching and helping them with English.
I began learning how to use PowerPoint when I was in the 9th grade. It is a fairly easy program to figure out and utilize, however there are some things that people might not have an understanding about within in. For example, some people do not know about the fades and different animations that your slides can do during a slideshow. These same people might not know that you can play music with your slides. PowerPoint is essential for those giving a big presentation and I wish to help people learn that.
Microsoft Word has been a program that I have used for many years. My experience with the program, would help anyone willing to learn how to use it properly. I have helped a few people with this program, I pretty much know it inside and out.
